Nudo Home’s Professional Therapies, formerly known as Specialized Therapies, provide essential clinical and supportive services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Services are based on individual needs and are delivered by licensed or qualified professionals following appropriate assessments and evaluations.

Our professional therapy services may include nursing, counseling, occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech and language therapy, audiology, nutritional support, and behavioral services. Treatment professionals may also provide guidance, training, and recommendations to the individual’s legally authorized representative (LAR) or other caregivers and support providers.

Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapy helps individuals develop or maintain the skills needed to participate in everyday activities and promotes greater independence at home and in the community.

Physical Therapy
Physical therapy helps individuals maintain or improve mobility, range of motion, physical function, and overall independence.

Social Services
Social services support individuals in improving their quality of life, accessing appropriate resources, and working toward their personal goals and potential.

Audiology
Audiology services assess hearing and identify potential hearing loss or related concerns. Audiologists can provide recommendations and guidance regarding appropriate treatment and hearing support.

Dietary Support
Nutritional and dietary services help individuals understand healthy eating habits and make appropriate nutrition and lifestyle choices based on their individual needs.

Speech and Language Pathology
Speech and language therapy supports individuals with communication difficulties by helping improve speech, language, communication, and related skills.

Dental Treatment

The Texas Home and Community-based Services (HCS) program includes dental treatment for eligible individuals, with a service limit of up to $2,000 per Individual Plan of Care (IPC) year. Dental treatment must meet program requirements, be authorized as appropriate, and be provided by a licensed dentist.

NUDO Homes helps coordinate approved dental treatment services based on each individual’s needs and service plan.
